Subject: Freedom of Access Act Request
Dear City Clerk,
Under the Maine Freedom of Access Act § 402 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to obtain copies of public records of a log of single family, new construction, building permit data that includes November 2017 through October 2018 permits including builder (or requestor) name, full site address, and permit issue date. Excel format is preferred, but if not available, scans, PDFs or mailable copies are acceptable.
If this information is unavailable in the specific format requested above, this request can be considered fulfilled by providing a log of ALL permits issued during the time period stated above including the builder/requestor name, the full site address, and the permit issue date.
If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed $20.00.
If you intend to deny this request, I will expect to hear from you within the five business days mandated by law. Also, if you expect a significant delay in responding to this request, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the ability to inspect the requested records.
