The Biddeford Youth Advisory Council's first project was to recruit volunteers for a cleanup of the downtown before Heart of Biddeford's Halloween Trick-or-Treating event. The group and their volunteers (including Mayor Alan Casavant, Council President John McCurry, and members of Biddeford High School's Interact club) removed several bags of trash from our streets, keeping the waste out of our waterways and making our downtown look its best for the hundreds of visitors that came through the following day.
