All vehicles with expired registrations owned by residents of Biddeford must be registered by June 30, 2020.
A recent Executive Order passed by Governor Janet Mills allows municipalities to set a deadline for the payment of excise taxes. At the June 2 City Council Meeting, the Council set Biddeford’s deadline as June 30 to coincide with the end of the fiscal year. The deadline applies to all vehicles with expired registrations as well as newly purchased vehicles.
We encourage you to re-register your vehicles, motorcycles and trailers through RAPID RENEWAL. There is a flat $2.00 fee for using this online service.
If you need to register a vehicle you’ve just purchased you will need to come to the City Clerk’s Office in person to complete your transaction. The City Clerk’s Office is currently open Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM.
