Climate change has been described as the single biggest threat society now faces. Our reactions to this crisis must be twofold: we must work towards both mitigation (slowing the emission of more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere), and adaptation (reconsidering how we live and do business as we prepare for the climate changes that loom ahead of us).

There are difficult choices in our future, and the comprehensive plan process is an important part of mapping out a course of climate action for Biddeford.
