Liam LaFountain was born and raised in Biddeford, where he attended St. James School, Biddeford Intermediate School, Biddeford Middle School, and Cheverus High School. After graduating from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Liam and his partner Eisha Khan returned to Maine and purchased a home in Biddeford.
Currently, Liam is a data analyst at the Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine, where he works to promote solutions that improve healthcare quality and lower costs. He has also served on Biddeford's Recreation Commission since 2020.
Liam aims to promote and advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, preserve our parks, enhance our recreational programming, improve our pedestrian infrastructure, and increase citizen participation and engagement in municipal government.
Liam is grateful for the opportunity to serve his neighbors and community on the City Council. He encourages all those who live, work, and visit Biddeford to reach out and share their concerns and ideas for our city.
