Request for Proposals

Proposals are being accepted by the City of Biddeford Fire Department for roof projects. Please see the document below for project specifications and bidding information. Responses are due no later than January 20, 2023 at 4:00 PM local time. 

• Replacement of Rubber ballasted roof

• Replacement of flashings on all walls, curbs, pipes, and all other penetrations.

• Install Bilco 2.0 For better safety rail at existing roof hatch

The City of Biddeford (CITY) shall bear none of the costs incurred by any proposer or potential proposer in their preparation of the proposed solution documents or any visits to inspect the project site. All such costs are the responsibility of the proposer.

SUBMISSION

Proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as “Biddeford Fire Department Central Station Roof Project” along with the Company’s name and date and time of the scheduled opening.  The CITY, its employees, officers or agents shall not be responsible for any pre-opening or post- opening of any proposal not properly addressed and identified. Proposals made in pencil or forwarded using e-mail and the internet will be rejected.

LIABILITY

Company agrees to indemnify and save and hold the CITY, its agents and employees harmless from any and all claims or causes of action arising from the performance of this agreement by Company or Company’s agents of employees. This clause shall not be construed to bar any legal remedies Company may have for the CITY’s failure to fulfill its obligations pursuant to this project.
