Notice is hereby given that the City of Biddeford will hold a public hearing regarding this program at its City Council Meeting on

Tuesday, June 20, 2023

at 6:00 pm at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 205 Main Street, Biddeford, Maine.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on:

1. CDBG Year 5 Action Plan - Amendment 3: Proposed substantial amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Year 5 Annual Action Plan. The amendment broadens activities under the housing category. This plan covers the program year 2022-23.
2. CDBG Year 6 Action Plan: Proposed Community Development Block Grant Year 6 Annual Action Plan and Budget. This plan covers the program year 2023-24.
3. CDBG Citizen Participation Plan: Proposed revisions to the Community Development Block Grant Citizens Participation Plan. This plan describes the manner by which the City will obtain input from the public, and notably from low/moderate income residents, regarding activities in which the city invests CDBG funds.

A copy of the materials will be on file with the City’s Planning Office during normal business hours.  All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard at that time.
