Join the City of Biddeford's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for a screening of "Fighting Indians" at McArthur Library. The documentary, filmed in Maine, is "a powerful and moving film which captures the contentious landscape that communities navigate when retiring harmful Native "themed" school mascots while elevating tribal sovereignty and championing Native voices" - National Congress of American Indians (NCAI). The screening is free and open to the public.
