THE MAIN STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PHASE II

Please be advised that a Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday July 10th, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor conference room, City Hall at 205 Main Street, Biddeford, for the purpose of addressing questions and comments from the first public meeting as well as obtaining comments from citizens, businesses and community groups regarding the Main Street Improvement Project Phase II. The project includes demolition of existing sidewalks, installation of new sidewalks on Main Street, between Adams Street and Elm Street (both sides), installation of new lighting, landscaping, planters, and other street amenities. A short presentation will be given on the design and street amenities. This Public Meeting is being held pursuant to the City of Biddeford’s participation in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Program. Any questions regarding the program may be addressed to Linda Waters at 284-9105. Any questions regarding the project itself may be addressed to Johnathan Malloy at 284-9118. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, individuals wishing to submit comments and/or who need assistance attending and participating in the Public Hearing, who require special accommodations, including services for the hearing impaired or who have language barriers, should contact Linda Waters at 284-9105.
