The City of Biddeford received a total of $9,759,098 through the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Biddeford City Council has established $744,593.75 of these funds for projects proposed to the City that would deliver equitable outcomes and transformative impacts in the community, with a focus on assistance to those most impacted by the pandemic.
The City is accepting Pre-Applications from candidates that would like to propose projects at https://www.biddefordmaine.org/ARPAfunds. This is the first phase of the application process, and applicants that move to the next round will fill out a more detailed application.
