Friday, January 20, 2023 to Saturday, February 18, 2023

 

Please be advised that there will be a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 7 at 5:30 PM, for the purpose of obtaining citizen comment regarding amendments to the CDBG Year 5 Action Plan. This Public Hearing is pursuant to Biddeford’s participation in the program noted above.

There is also a Public Comment Period that is open from Friday, January 20, 2023 to Saturday, February 18, 2023.

The proposed amendment is to divert funds to two projects: 1) a sidewalk construction project on York St and Laconia St, serving affordable housing in the downtown and 2) lighting in Williams Court Park, a park and community garden located in a low- to moderate-income neighborhood. The sidewalk construction project would be funded at $500,000 and the lighting project would be funded at $2000.
