[ARCHIVED] June 13, 2023 School Budget Validation Referendum Election

Absentee Ballots are now available for the upcoming June 13, 2023 School Budget Validation Referendum Election.

You may request an absentee ballot by telephone (207-284-9307) or by coming into the City Clerk’s Office during the business hours of: Monday & Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, and Wednesday & Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. City Hall is closed on Fridays. You may also print and fill out the absentee ballot request form and mail it to the City Clerk's Office (P.O. Box 586, Attn: City Clerk's Office).

Absentee ballot requests must be received by the City Clerk’s Office by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023, unless special circumstances exist. There will be no absentee voting on Friday, June 9 and Monday, June 12.

Extended Hours

Please be advised that the City Clerk’s Office will be open on Thursday, June 8, 2023 until 6:00 p.m. for absentee voting, acceptance of new voter registrations, and change of name and/or address. Please use the Main Street entrance to access City Hall after 4:00 p.m.

Election Information

All election day voting will take place at the Biddeford High School Tiger Gym (20 Maplewood Avenue). The polling place will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Parking is available in the large parking lot across the street from the Tiger Gym, as well as some limited “Voter Parking” right on Maplewood Avenue. Accessible parking is located in the parking lot adjacent to the Tiger Gym and is accessible via the Main Street entrance. Signs for parking will be posted on Election Day.
