The 12th Annual Festival highlights the efforts made over the past several years to make the Bacon Street neighborhood an even more family-friendly community to live in. This year’s activities include a petting zoo, pony rides, games, food, face painting, a Rock Climbing Wall, pedal car races, a bouncy house and water slide, and more activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy entertainment from a magician and live music from the Ketch Fish Band throughout the event. The City’s Police and Fire Departments are also joining in the festivities. This event is part of the National Night Out Campaign, an initiative sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. The campaign provides a unique opportunity for cities and towns across the United States to implement activities that promote safe neighborhoods, crime, drug and violence prevention, and police-community partnerships.
